The actual pump performance is often an unknown for plant operation personnel.  This can be in a brand new installation or one that has been running for 40 years.  The typical metric for pump performance is based upon the overall production capacity.  But, without a previous baseline, this though process can be dangerous.  Without any idea of how much the performance has changed from the original, a scheduled maintenance could be overlooked or postponed. Then, when it's least expected, a sudden failure can shut down all production resulting in large losses.

PII can conduct full performance tests for any type of pump.  Every test is designed to meet only the specific needs for the application and required results.  Our equipment is designed to handle all environmental conditions for extended periods of time.  So even remote pump stations can be monitored 24-7 to establish performance or assist in troubleshooting.  Also, working with plant data, we can identify poor pump performance to properly apply maintenance resources to the places they are needed most.
